Faye, or Farhannah, has had an interest in dance since 1997, when she started dancing along with instructional videos! However it wasn't until Autumn of 2005 that she found classes offered in American Tribal Style bellydance, through community education. She's been practicing ever since. Since then the classes had continued on into a troupe called Caravan North. Farhannah has performed with Caravan North, with Shiver and Solo.
Farhannah feels that dance is a wonderful form of self-expression and art, and feels that performances should reflect what's in the dancer's soul. She feels dance should be kept "family friendly", sensual but at the same time tasteful, and beautiful. Farhannah has met some wonderful people within the dance community.
Farhannah likes to perform with props, in particular zills, veils, and swords. She is also a novice with wings,daggers, fan veils and fans.
Faye, "Farhannah", is based in central Minnesota, in the St.Cloud area, and now teaches belly dance classes (see link at top of page) and small groups, and is a member of "Shiver" .
